it scares the heck out of me.

and now we’re all caught up in our own, too busy to even lean back and simply catch up on the minute details of our lives. we’re growing up, perhaps a little too fast. we’re beginning to realize what is and is not truly important, starting to understand the greater obligations, taking up the bigger roles. 

but nothing is for certain; sometimes, things seem a little to overbearing. yet this is just part of the process. we get lost in what we do, but eventually, we find our way. we don’t have the slightest clue as to why, but the answers come trickling in, one by one. we’re constantly suppressed by the elements that weigh us down, but even those bring us back up in due time. so just maybe, it’s safe to say, ‘it’s okay,’ because we’re stuck in a constant cycle. and in the end, everything returns to, at the very least, a sense of normalcy.

I teared up during that rally in 2009. It still gets to me today. It wasn’t even my graduating year. I can’t even imagine what the end of this year will be like.
